Brandi L. McDowell founded Brandi McDowell Productions, on November 4, 2012, following the success of her first production, ‘Joseph Stayed.’ It was this production that laid the foundation for all that Brandi and her company would become and aspire to be. 

 

Since 2012, Brandi has written, directed, and produced three of her original works and directed several more throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, adding “director” to their list of services. In 2016, she was afforded the opportunity to work with theatre heavy-weights Will Power and Jonathan Norton at the Dallas Theatre Center, along with being interviewed by D-Magazine as a rising theatre artist. Shortly, after he encounters with Will and Jonathan, Brandi went on to earn a Master’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program from Full Sail University. The stamps of approval from her mentors, along with her degree solidifies Brandi as a “writer to watch.” 

 

Since 2017, Brandi has served at the Stage Manager for the award-winning stage play ‘Soul Purpose,’ in which she has been promoted to Production Manager for its National Tour run beginning 2020. Brandi has shown great determination and willingness to learn and grow herself and the people around her, that success seems to follow her always. To ensure Brandi is offering her company and future clients the best, Brandi saw the need to expand her knowledge again and is slated to earn her Master’s of Business Administration in Entertainment May 2020.

 

Many would think Brandi is involved in quite a lot… but when you get to know Brandi, you’ll learn “it’s simply another opportunity for my prayers to manifest.” Brandi has shown true flexibility and diversity in the workplace, and her creative capabilities knows no bounds, everything she has accomplished on stage can expand to the television or movie screen.

 

In between parenting her son, Michael, Brandi can be found watching “Greys Anatomy,” “Queen Sugar,” or the documentary section of Netflix.
